In-House Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

Our facility provides In-House Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT). This includes PGT-A (aneuploidy) screening, which helps us select embryos that are predicted to be free of chromosome abnormalities or specific genetic conditions for transfer.

Blastocyst Transfer Program

Utilizing advanced technologies, achieves a high blastulation rate of 72.5% and IVF pregnancy rates of 70-80%. This involves culturing embryos to the blastocyst stage (5-6 days old with distinct cell types) before transfer, which allows for fewer embryos to be transferred and thus reduces the risk of multiple pregnancies.

Laser Assisted Hatching

The human embryo must "hatch" from its outer shell, the zona pellucida, to implant in the womb. Laser-assisted hatching is a technique that creates a small artificial hole in this zona using a laser. This is believed to facilitate the embryo's escape, thereby increasing its chances of implantation and pregnancy. This procedure is performed just before embryo transfer, either at the early cleavage (Day 2-3) or blastocyst (Day 5-6) stage.

One Incubator, One Patient

Alpha IVF Manila Inc. employs a "One Incubator, One Patient" system, dedicating a private incubator to each patient's embryos throughout their development. This minimizes environmental disturbances (temperature, pH, humidity, gas) that occur when incubator doors are frequently opened for other patients' embryos.
